Yes, it's great! I'm a dark elf, and i just hack and slashed a gazillion enemies until my long sword skill was 100, meaning that i never miss (the lower the skill is, the more often you miss)Duck wrote:Sorry to be off topic, but Morrowind such a cool game. I played it for days last year and its awesome. There's a huge world to explore, the graphics are very good (for that time) and there's lots of characters to be. Some impressive freedom I didnt see in any other game before.leofox wrote:For me, it's called TESIII Morrowind.
I choose to be this cat'ish type of character. I found out that by jumping continously, the character develops an ever-increasing ability to jump higher and higher. After some hours of gameplay, i was able to jump on top of anythink like a house, thus opening the ability to enter houses by finding its roof door/window thus being able to plunder whole cities of valuables . My character also developed this awesome ability to stealthishly rob people without them noticing. I went pretty far with that until I even tried to steal one guard's special glass armor: he pursuited me all the way to another city and eventually killed me :p

Yeh, haven't gotten quite that far with UnrealEd yet- I've mostly been messing around with Maya (got a crack for the $1600 full version) and just creating random maps. I still can't make skyboxes without extensive static mesh usage. I did make this one cool map, it's like the ruins of an underground city in this huge cave (a skybox of course, though not actually"sky"- I made that skybox with lots of static mesh boulders).DarkAuron wrote:Even then you can't quite escape programming: UT and it's scripting functions :p

Theres an IRC morrowind channel on irc2.peacefulhaven.net, channel is #morrowind. I go there on a regular basis, and although not the most active channel (it's kinda small) the people in there are pretty cool and know a lot about MWDuck wrote:Sorry to be off topic, but Morrowind such a cool game. And then we can go kill Kevin.
