according to recent progress posted on Omnimaga he got the Harry sprite to face 4 directions and the maps works, but unfortunately the screenie only showed the character so we dont get to see maps yet
Harry only faces 2 directions, actually. I need a left/right facing sprite. I never can and never will be able to draw one, so I request it of you, the people who don't suck at drawing. But now the tilemapper works, and collision detection takes about 5 seconds after that, so expect a screen shot soon.
As you can see, he needs more directions to face. And don't worry, this will go faster, I just had it slow for some reason. And if you look closely, you can see he waves his wand.

Well that looks cool, but he seems like he is jumping/hopping . Btw he looks funny walking sideways . I will give it a shot. Could you post just the char sprite? Not animation of it.
Aha, those look good. The only thing I would change is that his shoulders look hunched up on the forward facing one and the wand movement on the second one should involve more arm movement. I still think they are awesome.
