Hello,
I not the best pixel artists... and that is why I am here.
I was wondering if anyone would like to make me some sprites.

I need 5 sprites that are 16 to 32 pixels wide * 32 pixels high.
They need to be good, detailed sprites of 5 different 1920's-like gangsters. Each one is holding a different weapon.
They include:

Throwing Knife
Handgun
Rifle
Shotgun
Tommy Gun

Thanks for your Time

Definately, I will give you credit.
Thank You.

I figured you could get those monochrome graphics done way faster, better, and more detailed than I ever could.

Thanks Alot.

If you wanted greyscale, I could easily touch em up...and I read on your site that you were going to make a raycast game...If you need anymore sprites, just ask (I got to work on merth's enviroment sprites though)

Yes and No...
As for the raycast game, that is to come. Shawn and I need to learn even more about z80 to code a raycaster. I talked with coelurus (Gemini)about a raycaster a few months ago, and he recommended that we start with a 2D rail-shooter (which was another type of game we were planning).

So, right now I am trying to finish the first level. I'll try to describe the game.

First of all, each level is made up of 10 full-screen tiles. Using Y= and GRAPH you can jump back and forth between these tiles. Since each tile has similar objects and looks, it gives you the appearence that you are just moving sideways. Just like any other arcade shooter.
Using Left and Right, you can move the target cursor. Using 2nd you can fire. Using ALPHA you can reload. Ammo has not been put in yet, but I already had written a more complex version of this code for a previous demo.
As far as the theme, it is a mix of a first-person shooter, arcade shooter, and Star Wars: Battlefront mentality and stategy. Using your sprites, you will select one of the five gangsters. Each one will have different weapons and capabilties. This adds the stategy to the game.
If you have played Battlefront, you know that you kinda control an army. Same idea in this game. You can direct you're troops to a command post. If you get killed you will be able to respawn as long as you have troops in your reserves.
Pretty much it is just a big gang war in calc form.

As for other sprites, just check up on this topic every once and a while. I love your work and would be happy to use it if you offer.

Thanks Again,
Nick

P.S. Be on the look out for a new, updated demo. Hopefully I have the time, football practice starts next week.
