i've had no time between school (AP courses omg), a job, and college searching. just getting world of warcraft and advance wars dual-strike did help either. im not sure when ill have time to work on this again. im going to ask my AP Java teacher if i can program it in class because me and my friend always finish our programs too early.

Looks great! I think it is more unique than the others I've seen, as the HUD is on the left and the sprites are 8x8 :D. Keep it up man!

Wow, thats awesome! It looks exactly like an asm game!

Does it still scroll the old zelda style?

it now takes 19780 bytes (with only the maps youve seen)
ive archived the enemy AI, the maps, the menu weapons, even the ASM greyscale title screen
i have included scrolling in the screenie again so those who missed it the first time can see it.

Looks really good indeed... especially for Basic... I'm really shocked what a skilled basic programmer can do with the help of xlib :)
