CalcStat

yeah, but looking for a common game results in many results for many calculators. You need to manually click on each one to find the ones for your calc.Rezek wrote:...there's the search function at ticalc.org.
Anything else would take too much time and effort imho.
and that toosometimes i hate that search functions...
probably because everything i'm looking for is grouped under some name i didn't know until you guys told me

The problem with the ticalc method is that there's no real way to compare statistics between files. With CalcStat you'll have all of the information for all of your files in front of you for comparison. It will also provide additional statistics that Ticalc doesn't include.Timendus wrote:Allow me to ask a very stupid question: If it's an executable to run on my computer, that will load my Ticalc.org data from the website (provided that I have a connection with the Internet), why would I use your program instead of going to Ticalc.org..?
(Fears "you're unencouraging!" flames from CompWiz ;))
I've switched GUI toolkits, so now CalcStat will use wxPython instead of Tkinter. I've changed it so the GUI us now based on MDI (multiple document interface), allowing the user to move windows containing the information they want where they want them.
It looks awesome so far, but not finished enough to show screens.
I need a good icon, but I just don't have the pixel art skillz needed. You guys do this sort of thing as a hobby, so I was hoping to get some help.
Any takers? You'll get the credit you deserve.

I talked to Jason about it a while ago, and he is currently "working" on it
There isn't a version of wxPython for the latest version of OSX, and when I tried to install it I got an error.
Once the xml thing gets done at ticalc, the possibilities will be endless! I'm thinking about doing a dashboard widget that displays ticalc author data.
