Texas Instruments vs. Casio

Well, being new to graphing calculators and all, I was wondering about this. The calculator I have is listed in my signature.

Anyways, which is better Texas Instruments or Casio?

Most people use TI...I have seen few Casios. I heard Casio has games too. Are Casios similar to TI? As in they have RAM & ARCHIVE memories and the layout is similar. Do they have multiple models of calculators as well?

I think the TIs look cooler

It's a matter of preference. I prefer TI's because they are more widely supported.

Yea I like the TIs too, even though I have never tried using a Casio before.

I see Ti vs. Casio, what about HP? Those are really powerful.

The HP calcs I've seen have rocked. Then again, the only "decent" TIs I've seen have been 83/83+.

i don't like the screen dimensions of HP calcs...ive never used one personally though...

I prefer TI only because I have one and I've never, ever seen a casio or a HP graphing calc.

I prefer TI because i am incredibly biased ... erm i mean because TI is the best!

But HP calcs are a LOT more powerful, and are based on ARM cpu's (the newer ones) ... however the OS is crap as they didnt update it for ARM they just made a saturn (or whatever the old chip was called) emulator for it ... but now al has ported gcc to HP, software will be a lot better

I own a TI82 and a hp49g+
Games-side, the HP wins (or will soon), thanks to hpgcc and the potential it brings :)
On the side of maths, my calcs can't be compared, since the 49g+ has a real CAS, unlike the TI8x
RPN rocks though, but the keyboard of my HP sucks
also the design of the OS/CAS of my hp is quite hard to understand...
but I love my old 82 also...

Actually I bought the HP for its CAS, and its 200MHz (slown down to 75MHz iirc) ARM cpu, now programmable in C :)
