Nope, no greyscale. Sorry, but I already have pretty much all the sprites drawn up, and I'm not exactly good enough of an artist to add in another shade or two of color. Besides, it looks good enough as is, and is actually pretty darn fast. Movement goes along at a surprisingly good speed, one that I myself am damn proud of, so I don't really think I'm gonna be messing with the movement engine any further, besides adding in the required stuff for battles.
Post-Edit no Jutsu: Well, I got bored, so I put the Shattered Oasis information page back up on the main site, and hell, I'll also make a little news post on the front page, my first ever news post, and likely my only ever news post. Meh.

Cool, grayscale was just a joke btw (It's now possible in BASIC), the graphics from the last summer version was pretty cool (FFIV style). I see you changed some features in the game on the project page? I think one character per battle would be a cool idea because it's easier to program and the game is more challenging. Also you have more space in the screen, allowing you to make more animation or put text on the screen or whatever you want to do.
What did that mean?BetaSword wrote:Post-Edit no Jutsu

Umm... Actually... I got it from planet-megaman.com... One of the recents news updates has it. But hey, maybe that person got it from Naruto. Who knows.dysfunction wrote:Naruto! Sexy no Jutsu!
I have absolutely no idea. I've never played Baiten Kaitos, nor fo I have the slightest clue as to what the battle system is like. Sorry...T0RM3N7 wrote:wow this sounds like a good game , just one question:
Will this battle engine be like the one from Baiten Kaitos????
well, I hope this revival goes better than the rest!!!
