Skirmish (Palm OS)

Post by soinsg »

So this isn't exactly ti-calc, sorry. But after seeing some CalcWars discussion I remembered I hadn't released Skirmish for over year even though I stopped working on it and it's in a playable state.

It's a turn based strategy with single-palm multiplayer or a computer opponent.

I'm not sure whether to release the C source or not as I'm not exactly working on it anymore but it's one of the more in depth games I've written.

Just an open battlefield, no scrolling or anything either. It has the capability to support obstacles like trees and rivers, but the AI could get stuck behind them as I made very simple pathfinding.

It can still be fun to play, like building a row of defense turrets all the way to the enemy base or building a lot of scuds or migs then destroying the computer player.

Explosion animations and a larger play area would be nice, but as I've said I stopped working on this a long time ago.
