After some hard times I am not so sure If I wanna do Diablo or Slordax. If you remember Slordax is like Phoenix, except enemies crash into you...

Where's the "Make whatever you want to make" option? You should be programming for yourself, not to show off to or please others.

Tic tac toe may be a bit too basic. I think you should make slordax before diablo because it's a lot less complicated. The Ti world can always use more scrolling shooters. :D
...someone needs to make gradius...
bananas... o.o

How is it ironic?
I didn't mean no cheap crappy version, I meant an awsome version, with guns, magic cherrys and 3d vector graphics.

Haha, grayscale. Try a game you can complete, these are big first projects.

Actually, scrolling shooters are fairly easy to make. I made a few PC ones myself. The hardest part was creating a background and tiles that looked good. Just set timers for everytything to appear. And the AI is insanely easy. Just make things that move back and forth or in a circle and shoot at you randomly(not in random direction, just random timing). As the game progresses, make the enemies move more erraticly and shoot more often. Bosses can be hard to make though.

Rubbish. I never play any of the stuff I wrote myself, and I certainly didn't enjoy working on a lot of it.

c'mon as you're still learning, both diablo and a shoot'em up game will be very hard to do
try programming a tic-tac-toe, that will be already great
