I got distracted by a bunch of nonsense at work (will explain later). Plus doing more projects and freerunning on the side. Hopefully I can demo a certain calc prog soon. :P

Yep, waiting for this myself. ^^

Also, the forums were down for a while giving mysql errors, glad to see things are fixed now. :)

Aye, that was only brought to my attention yesterday, sorry about that - it looked like the post table needed to be repaired.

Is anyone still around? I'd like to talk (or read) about a few game programming concepts like object/event handling but everywhere seems pretty quiet these days.

I'm certainly still around but don't have much to talk about - work is taking up all of my time at the moment.

Cemetech seems to be the busiest site with an assembly bias these days.

I just read through your 3D engine sub forum a few days ago, it looks beautiful! As i had to look up the equation to the Pythagorean Theorem the other day i think i'm still a ways off from being able to pull something like that off :P

By the way, what sort of work do you do (if you don't mind me asking)?

I wouldn't really recommend Cemetech, btw

Thanks. :) The 3D maths in that project is relatively simple, really, as it cheats by representing most of the world in 2D. I wish I had more time to work on it.

PHP web development, for my sins.

I should probably have warned you to ignore Kllrnohj. Sorry about that. :(

I've never really gone over to Cemetech being somewhat biased i suppose from late 90s/early 2000s events, though i have to admit that Kerm has a ton of amazing projects and is easily a far better programmer than i am :D

I just hope you enjoy what you do. I've been spending time lately working on a sort of proof of concept (that is: proof that i can actually do it) RPG engine. There are a few screenshots over at Revsoft and it's nothing serious, but i'm interested in reading/learning about different ways to go about it, especially how to organize all the data. Right now i'm a little stumped on how to handle (nonstatic) objects, mostly on whether or not to add an object layer to the engine. It seems i keep coming back to the z80, it's so much fun to program for.

Though the screenshot is a bit further than where i am now, as i dropped my laptop yesterday and now it's completely busted, so i'll have to continue with my last backup from about a week or so earlier.

EDIT: Oh, and hey King Harold! It's been a while :)

Omni is pretty active too, but there are fewer assembly programmers than Cemetech and fewer hardware mod discussion. Most of the ASM discussion occurs over IRC and the forums gets more of the Axe Parser, TI-Nspire Lua and game projects discussions. It's also both Kllrnohj-free and allynfolksjr-free :P . I might be biased, though, since I used to run the site. :P

I'm unfortunately hardly active anywhere anymore, though. Cemetech is pretty nice too, although you gotta follow Benryves advice.

Lol ok. Just keep in mind there are catgirls there, though, although normally you should be safe. And they're moving servers and seems to have messed cookies up <.<

Also I wonder if the dutch TI board is still active?
