They at least claimed to be a girl.

Are they? Have you proof of that? Is proof possible through the internet? let me answer that: No! She'd be the only girl if she indeed is a girl and I haven't seen her a lot..
Was she not only active during june 2006?
Why are there so few girls here? Are they scared of programming?

let's get back on topic though: Ok so now you all got me confused. This is going to be an app right? No BASIC?

That would be the best way, the plans sound great but it needs people to start doing more than talk to make it happen..I am not saying anyone here must start the flow, but someone needs to if it is going to happen..

Okay my intent is to be able to incorperate the entire forum in this; those who know BASIC can program some programs and those who know ASM can program certain routines as well.

Do you have a general system?
Or could you make some screenies to show everyone how you wnat this ga,e to work (maybe screenies from the games this game will look like, because i have no idea what kind of gameplay there will be)?

you can make a system, then explain with screenies, and then delegate the tasks

Not screenies per se. (Image issues? D: )
If someone can find images of the game FATE and the images of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon I could show you guys.

I used to have these two screenshots of me with some epic battle lances dealing over 600 damage each. I don't think I have the images or the character anymore.

Well then, the concept is to fuse the 'Infinite Dungeon' part of Fate and mix it with the gameplay of 'Pokemon Mystery Dungeon'.

EDIT: By 'infinite dungeon' I mean infinite floors of the dungeon with like Portal occasionally to go back to town.

@driesguldolf: type in www.google.us and you'll get the original version.

@ProphetsDementia: Actually, the infinite dungeon part might be a tad bit too hard for a calc. After all, lots of dungeon levels means lots of enemies, which means lots of data needed to be stored.

http://www.google.com/search?q=fate+screenshots should work for everyone..

@Delnar_Ersike: 16k is a lot of memory, and if it isn't enough we could even make it multi-page..

You misunderstand. By 'infinite levels' I mean just an unknown amount of levels. If we're lazy we can just use 20 different enemies, give them 5 possible names each, and change their stats a bit. But I agree with King Harold for the most part. 16K is a lot of memory and multi-paging is a plus.

BTW for some strange reason, I'm feeling sentimental.
So, thanks to the MaxCoderz community for having my back. (I guess)
Especially, King Harold and Floodkiller (wherever he may be.)

Hmm, well, I get your point about just using 20 or so enemy models and change their stats and names if we are lazy, but with more than 300-something dungeon levels that are in FATE, people will get bored of the dungeons pretty quickly unless each level has something unique about it (One is a portal maze, the other needs a flag to be placed in special flag holders to be able to open some doors, etc.).

The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon part is going to be much harder, since all the enemies in the dungeon level need to be tracked, as well as a ton of other stats (coordinates, hunger level, abilities, etc.) for the main characters as well as the enemies. However, I do like the idea of a squad-based RPG on calcs... Replace the Pokemon setting with a Post-Apocalyptic one and you are on your way to a calculator version of Fallout.

Hunger? You mean that Belly crap? No. Scratch that. I mean gameplay wise. The top-down perspective. :P
