Very nice work Necro!

Do you intend to go into art as a future career/side career? (what do you intend to do otherwise?) Make absolutely sure to hold on to this stuff for an excellent portfolio. In addition you should also try submitting this for scholarships.

P.S. have you taken any art history classes? Last semester I took "History of Modern Art" being 1600's till today. I really enjoyed it, and highly recommend you look into it if you haven't taken it already. There is so much to learn from those artists, and really has allowed me to better appreciate art and design.

I am studying programing (vb, c, c++, java, A+, fortran, delphi, etc) in software engineering, but am only three quarters into classes. If I could, id love to work for or put together a professional studio and make stuff (perferably games but I wouldn't mind making sites, content, graphics, movies, etc.) but I can't see much in ways to make money in art, there are a plethora of people far better at it than I.

As far as art history in hs. I tend to like surealism, barouqe, greco-roman art and dislike strongly dada, some abstract, most cubism and most impressionism, and almost all abstract african art.

Hey Necro, I had an idea for your next painting if you decide to use it.

Possibly something to the effect of three soldiers (I don't know if you do people) wearing gas masks, climbing out of the trenches. The setting would be a battlefield in WWI, and a cloud of gas could be coming their way with barb wire visible underneath it. A ruined bunker could be in the background with an abandoned machine gun on tripod.

What do you think?

Thses are generaly just supposed to be simple scapes and nothing that complex. I don't like to much time on a picture as I am working on a number of programs and my classes resume next week.

Pretty sweet, although im not sure there is enough contrast between your objects. I guess that is your style though. Those doors are superb btw :).

I got to agree with tr1p here. Also the "top" of the walls looks somehow weird.... maybe you could see how Zelda does it?
