Two simple game ideas for absolute beginner ASM programmers

Post by Duck »

Hi all,

I found these two games on the net and I thought they might be nice to port to the calculator for these beginner ASM programmers out there. With all these games already out on the TI83, simple flash games found on the internet can be a good source of inspiration.

- game "Balls": learn usage of sprites, hit collisions, some very simple physics and game dynamics;
- game "TrapDraw": try some area filling techniques.

Trapdraw is like a free-hand Jezzball, pretty cool. Balls seems like it might be fun.

Hey Duck! :). Cool games, although they are simple, it would still be nice to see a calc port :).

Hi Duck!

ya, I agree with ya tr1p1ea, a lot of simple games seem to be the most fun and addictive :)
