Hey, I found a tripod on sale for $3.99 with Free Shipping at thetechgeek.com. It's pretty small, but it may just be enough to help you out a bit.

Obviously not at the same time as the PS/2 port, since it's being used then. Otherwise it shouldn't influence it.

That's awesome. Can the mod be also made external, in a box that you can connect to the calc or so? I remember seeing this a whooole long while ago on uti.kerm_martian wrote:leofox: yes, it still works. In fact, if I turn the modded calc off (to prevent it issuing link activity), then plug in the mouse or keyboard and connect the modded calc to another calc via an I/O cable, I can use the PS/2 device on the non-modded calculator.

I use this;
(Click for "action" shot)
All it is is a bit of stripboard, a PS/2 socket and a 5V voltage regulator.

I think I need to get my lazy ass to the shop and get some a PS/2 port and a tiny-to-big USB thing to connect use things. Is someone going to include support for USB drives in their things? Might that be something for you kerm? (although DCS is allready multipage )
Ive been trying to use the USB8X thing in assembly but for some reason it keeps making insanely large things with a bad name that kills all appvars and groups and then gives a memory error, when trying to delete it you get all kinds of weird errors like "undefined" and "RAM failed". Odd? certainly.
But DCS has a cool GUI, so if it could interface with USB8X and a mouse at the same it would be.. almost TOO cool.. by the way I found an USB-PS/2 converter near my sisters computer. It can now be found near mine, I thought I could use it to use an USB mouse and USB stick at the same time (on my calc ofcourse) but then I thought: hey, if that's possible, then why dont I just connect an USB thing to the link port? You would then have 2 usb ports of which one could be of normal size.. Good idea or what?
Hoping for someone who writes an internet browser for TI's that uses a wirseless LAN adapter that goes right into the USB/old link port..
Anyway, that trick I thought of, connecting an USB port to the old linkport, that should be possible, yes?
