Most badass program competition
The name says it all.
This is a proposed programming competition to make the most over-the-top and extreme game! The judges will be looking for something like Johnny's Extreme Adventure.
I will be happy to judge entries, since I don't do any calc programming anymore.

I wasn't aware you ever did.anykey wrote:I don't do any calc programming anymore.
Believe it or not, I used to make some *okay* basic games, but never bothered uploading them anywhere (it's not like anybody would download them!)
You're probably wondering why I even come here anymore, right?
Even though this community is for calculators, most of the people here are close to my age that enjoy programming.
So nobody is interested about a competition like this? I guess everybody already has projects going on right now.

Yup, as always. If everything goes as planned (like it never does) I'll have a pretty badass program to submit in a few weeks thoughanykey wrote:I guess everybody already has projects going on right now.

Well, I could make a "totally badass" program after I finish Deal or No Deal.
I already got a plan for it too. A little collection of minigames that add stats to an rpg like character. After I come up with the minigames, then I add an rpg storyline for a "badass" character with "badass" stuff to do.
I like to use "quotes" "too much".

You pretty much nailed it with that statement.thegamefreak0134 wrote:So, essentially something totally ridiculous and absurd with no real point or purpose, yet having just enough depth to still be called a game? (As in, have fun with this one?)
Just because it's for fun doesn't mean you can get away with any sloppy coding, however! Knowing you guys, I'm sure that these will be pretty high quality.

Just a hint...I find killing dragons with the pure power of rock to be very badass...
