On my laptop I have yahoo widgets wich is for Windows and Macs

Sounds like a cool widget though I might wanna get it if it is for yahoo. :D

Ben already pointed that out to me, and I took a look at it.
Yahoo put the worst documentation out there that I've ever seen! From what I saw, Yahoo widgets are completely different than dashboard ones, and I'm not really willing to write them because I lack a testing platform.

Aren't dashboard widgets written in Javascript? I could test them if someone writes one.

Widgets are basically a tiny web page. You wouldn't be able to test it without the dashboard, since it uses libraries that aren't standard (such as the Quartz one for doing the cool flipping thing). Most widgets use the xmlHttpRequest object, which requires special permission to access urls that aren't in the same domain.
