Banjo [my kitty]

Post by tr1p1ea »

I recently moved house, from the country into the city. We bought our cat (named 'Banjo' :P) and were keeping him inside so that he could settle in. On the second day here he was let outside for a little bit by my sister and he ran away while she wasnt watching.

There was no sign of him for 4 days and since we live near a really busy road i started to fear the worst. My sister was really upset. I was going to visit the animal shelter and vet to see if anyone had bought him in.

Then on friday i was on my PC and i heard some scratching coming from outside my window around midnight. I ignored it and then it happened again, i thought that it might be Banjo so i ran outside and i saw him run away. I called out to him in which he turned around and came running up to me. I picked him up and held him in the air with a massive grin on my face. Funny thing is how he knew that i was inside that room, there were other lights on in the house but i was the only one home ... not to mention the fact that he had never been around the front of the house before.

He was wet, cold, starving but purring like mad when i took him inside. I dried and fed him then patted him like crazy. I called my sister and she was overjoyed.

I really thought that i wouldnt ever see him again. Man i am so happy :D.

Here is a very blurry and low quality movie of him running away from a soccerball at the old place :).

Wait you drew a cat, :kitty: isn't that him? I believe he makes a guest appearance in Zelda.

Aww, that's cute...

Our cat recently passed away. It turned out she had internal injuries after she fell down the stairs, and there was nothing we could do to help her :(

It is, but she had a good life here. Anyway, after seeing her and my parent's rabbit die so suddenly, it's good to hear that your cat was more fortunate. Gives a bit more hope for future pets :)
