PTI problem...

Post by tifreak8x »

All but two of my files that I want to send to PTI give a transmission error. Any ideas as to why this is, and maybe a way to correct the problem??

Could you please outline which files you are trying to send to PindurTI for us?

Are they programs/applications/PIC's etc?

It may be set to go into the archive, ie the program is set for archive. I like to take that program and open graphlink and save it. That will fix the problem, I guess PTI doesn't support archived programs..

Send me one or two files that don't work. I'm the one who can fix PTI after all.

Well I get the error all the time, it's because the program needs to go into the archive.

Okay, now read my previous post a bit more slowly. This error has been reported the first time several months ago, and I asked for such files back then already, unfortunately to no avail...

Ok tonight I will send you a file that gives such an error.

Edit: Try Maze3D or the matrix [J] in this game.

I tried and it works. Well, almost. If there is a name clash in the archive, the file on the calculator gets deleted and you have to send it again. I'll see what I can do about this.

Apropos error: Sometimes my Pindur blowes up after quitting and becomes 222kb instead of 49. If I run it I get an error that he cant read the memory.
Also the pti.conf file is 0 bytes then.
[removed] - maybe virus :o

Another vote for Avast! (AVG is... OK, but a bit iffy IME).
