Sorry for the double post but the last post I put on here was a couple weeks ago.

By the way, if you have any ideas, questions or comments for the game I would like to here them so I can make an awesome game.

I will be releasing the beta version very soon. Also I have left to do in the beta is finish the racing part of the game, and the upgrades.

releases:
0.85 Beta
within the next few weeks. this version will have 30 cars,
5 upgrades, and one racing mode.

0.92
hopefully within the next month. This version will have an intro
menu, 2 racing modes, over 34 cars, and 5 upgrades. The races
will be timed and you can save high scores. This one will also
allow you to have 2 cars owned at the same time.

Version 1.0
In the next couple of months, maybe by July or later. The version
will have everything in the previous ones plus an arcade mode, so
you can race with any car you want. A trade cars feature, so that
you can trade your cars via link cord to other calculaters, over 40
cars, and 3 raceing modes in the simulation; Single Race,
Tournament, and Time Trial.

Thanks for all of your support so far.

if you still need formulas PM me, I've got some that don't need gears and such (they are frictionless formulas, but the road conditions could be worked in easily)

I can't wait to try out the beta. It looks great.
Just so you know, if you run it in pindurTI, you can just push tab to capture an animated gif.

Oh, and Racecar II; The Need to Race .85 Beta is 99% done. It isn't that balenced at the moment but that's why you have betas. All I'm doing now is just testing stuff to make sure that it all works. This game is about 26 Kb which is more than the calculater can hold but thanks to xLib you only need 10 Kbs free to run the game. Also the racing part of the game goes about 4 fps. Quite fast for all of the graphical stuff it has.

I'm going to disney world, Italy and London in the next few days so when I come back I'll give this to everybody. See Ya!

Hey guys I'm back! Italy and London are cool places to go. If you ever get a chance to go there take it.

Okay back to my game. I will upload it somewhere within the next couple of days. I just need to get some things from my friend. Hey, if anyone knows of any good uploading sites I would be happy to know of them.

so, it's been more than a couple of days. Have you uploaded this?

As for upload sites, just google it. you should make sure send it in to ticalc.org since it's a calc game. Then they will host it. :)

Racecar II; The need to Race v0.99 Beta is done.

Some known Bugs
Allows you to race before you get a car.
Some unbalences.
Some Load/Save issues.
Readme issues (SETUPRC instead of INSTALRC and VARASM)

Remember this is a beta version. This was released to help me with finding bugs, and for you to look at it.

I just downloaded that, and there are a few problems. The readme talks about files that don't exist in that zip file. I assume that INTSALRC and VARASM are now both part of the setup file that is included.

When I ran the program, after following all the setup procedures, I ran into a problem when running it. It gave an err: divide by zero error and pointed to the line that says:

Code: Select all

 [A](1,1)/([A](1,2)/100->B
I followed all the instructions just as it said in the readme. I'm going to try resending it and re setting it up, and see if it happens again.

Sorry about the readme, I wrote that a while ago, so some things have changed since then. SETUPRC is all that you have to run before you play. What program are you running to play? ZRACE or RACEII because that line is only in ZRACE. You need to run RACEII instead.
