ghostly car commercial

Post by Spengo »

This is a European car commercial that was pulled from the air after some of the crew complained about a weird ghostly image that appears about half-way through the ad. It isn't supposed to be there.

I had to watch it very closely a couple of times but it's definitely there (unlike the famous ghost image from Three Men and a Baby that turns out to be a poster of Ted Danson).

Watch the video closely and you'll see a ghostly white mist about half-way through. If you turn the volume up you can also hear a faint whooshing sound.

I had to get out my good headphones to hear that noise.

Oh damn it, I thought that gujy that pops up at the end was the thing. I thought you guys were covering up to make it not sound like one of those flash anis where you read text carefully then a freaky image appears.
... hmm I can't see it. I guess i'll encode it in WMV and have it run it at half speed...

You do have to look very closely to see it. Make sure to view it in full screen. And also make sure there aren't any lights on in the room. The glare can wash it right out.
