Looks interesting... I'm assuming it has vertical scrolling, and if so, I'm guessing that the original SMB3 levels could be exactly remade. Well, also assuming pipes work, and moving platforms, and automatic screen scrolling... Still, looks nifty.

Even the screen-moving-without-you bit? Like SMB3 level 1-4?

The screen constantly scrools to the left in that one, whether you are moving left or not. If you fall behind and get stuck between something and the screen, you die.

Well, technically, to be able to exactly recreate SMB3, you'd also need it to be able to automatically scroll diagonal and up as well, for some levels. But still, it already looks amazing.

A new beta will be released soon, but in the mean time, he did add a couple new screenshots. :D These are of the Overworld... :)

Totally awesome! I can't wait for the next update. Finally a Mario clone for the 68k calcs that does the old games justice.
