Yes, just that is a complete pong game written in greyscale with AI and two-player over the linkport. It's written in TI-ASP hence the efficiency :).

In the off-chance you just don't know what Pong is, http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fi ... 31328.html
Hehe.

2 lines of code for a pong game! I wonder how many lines it would take for Unreal 2004! Obviously it would use less CDs

That's were Sir Robin got that code from :) If you want to start learning, don't be afraid to ask any questions. You can start learning from tutorials in this topic:
And incidently, that's what's under my control-v :P.
Scroll down for the TI-Basic section.
I wrote a tutorial once, dunno if you'll like it: http://rezek.unitedti.org/bg.hlp . Unfortunately the Help Program I used to make it broke :( and so some of the features don't work  like links and stuff.

I was sort of a newb back then; things are done weirdly.

That really isn't where I got it from (your link is for the 83+... the code is for the 89). Someone was asking me for help over AIM (please don't do that people - forums are much better).
just try to be nice to people.

Well nevermind! I just thought that because the code appeared at UTI and your post soon after (relatively)

I love this thread so I will revive it!
Food and Water rationing
During the time spent on the raft in the sea water, we will be rationing out our food and water. With the water the human body requires 2-3 quarts of water a day, but when you are not walking you require only 1 quart every 3 days (page 224) if it is 80 degrease to 90. We are given 4 gallons of water form ourselves and emergency kit, given that we didn’t drink any during the night. So if we gave everyone 1.6 quarts of water we would survive for about 6-8 days, so we need to take into fact that we have supplies to purify the water and collect water from the rain. We will be able to produce 1 quart of water every 15 minutes, so we wouldn’t really need to ration much of the water, and 1.6 quarts will be given to each person per day.
We are left with 18 MRE’s and 6 granola bars, also given that no one had eaten any during the night. So every two people will receive 1 MRE for 3 days, then 3 MRE’s and 6 granola bars will be left. At this point if we haven’t seen any sign of help or land we will need to get other kinds of food. Depending on how far in the ocean we are, we will try to fish. If we are successful in catching we will slice the fish thin and place them on the space blankets, letting them sun cook. If all goes well we will be fine for 10 or more days.
