@koolmansam375: umm, jigglypuff is a girl...and that sleep move is the most powerful non-item attack in the game. See what happens when jigglypuff falls asleep and someone is standing next to her. And fox pwns ganondorf >:)
@darkauron: lvl 1-lvl6 cpu's are not even worth fighting. All they do is stand around and wait to get hit :P. And I know a person who can beat ANYONE with Zelda..not Sheik. It's actually kind of scary...
Fox != weakling. The way to do things with fox is a relentless barrage of smash attacks and kicks. Never let your opponent get up. Fox pwns all in 1 on 1, but when there are 3-4 players, he isn't quite as good. In the original, Fox has a REALLY fast smash attack, so it's easy to keep hitting people with that.
Hey! What's this I hear about Picachu being a terrible player? Doesn't eveybody realize agility is possibly the best comeback/evasion move in the whole game? (At least until Mewtwo's teleport was introduced.) Agility in SSB 64 was fast enough to screw up human players just as bad as the AI. And it made your opponent's hammer absolutely useless (along with any kind of long-range attack). My hands are still cramped from so much 'ctrl pad + B + ctrl pad.'

Pichu takes damage whenever his own electricity gets him. For example, if you B+Down and his bolt doesn't get to him, no damage. He has the smallest collision area of any character, though.
So L_man, were the mechanics of the game going to be the same as the real thing? Like: the higher your damage, the further you fly? That seems like it would be really difficult to recreate. Also, how will the camara work?

yeah that is the way i plan on doing it. the higher youre percent is, the more you will be pushed/affected by an attack. yeah it is going to be kinda hard but i have already kinda started working on it.i wanted to have fox in it but it is hard to draw a decent sprite of him, and i already have enough characters to worry about right now. about a screenine im going to see if i can get my screnie i made a while ago and my code off my laptop today and if not im going to sneak it while my parents arent looking.... so wish me luck... and i havent played the new SSB so im bassing it off the 64 one
