Well, Metroid isnt dead at all. If it was, you'd see an announcement. We have plans for that game, but nothing you will be hearing about soon.
I am rewriting some core parts of SB, which is why any new screenies wont show too much over the previous ones. I will be busy-busy until next week, perhaps you will get your much needed dose of progress then?

Okay i know its been a long time (including penalties ) but i just finished the combo system.
Here is a screenie showing kicking and punching, still early and the actual punch/kicking sprites will change. The combo system allows for some elaborate combo's but i havent demonstrated that yet ... i might make another screenie tomorrow with a combo.
If you look closely you will see that when pressing punch quickly in succession produces different results. Once is a normal punch, twice is a tiny lunge punch and three times quickly in succession is a big lunge punch.
I told you there was some progress . I still have to rewrite some more internals, but i might leave that until later.
