Ok, I have both the gimp and Paint.net [just got the new 3.0 version btw], what steps would I take to make them look good?
I've tried a few, but they all look like someone threw up on my compuer screen; not exactly the effect I was looking for.
How in the world did you pull this one off?

If you give the image tags on the Images page a width=100 and height=100 (in css or otherwise) they will load more gracefully.

I can't remember how exactly I completed that image, just look around and experiment but mostly have fun doing it!
Exactely, I didn't mean that you should use the original, big images, just that you should specify their dimensions to keep the browser from making them jump around.
