OK, I know I'm going to be called a noob for this but, I need to know.

I am a VERY skilled BASIC programmer. However, trying to learn xLib is like trying to walk again. After reading the help file, it looks easy enough. But, then I crashed my calc. (Thanks God, I archived everything.)

A little help would be appreciated.

What exactly were you trying to do? Perhaps you could give me some info on how it crashed, what functions you were using etc?

Crashing a calc with xLib shouldn't be to hard afaik. It's a ASM prog after all, and giving it the wrong parameters, it will crash (right?)

Yes. I was using the CreateTileMap Function and I forgot a parameter. (cPIC_Num)

And I am trying to make TowelMan. (See Program Ideas for more info.)

Well xLIB actually does lots of checks to make sure that it wont crash when things are missing ... however you must be using the bugged version of 0.6b, the CreatePic function was bugged and caused crashes.

It has been fixed and i will email you the update.

The execute archived prog thing can also cause trouble, sometimes.
