Yea that seems to be where most of the activity is.Madskillz wrote:and I mostly check out the Sonic/Contra threads overthere anyway
Sonic mostly has just sprites and a title screen (done by Madskillz and they look awesome! ). i dunno if shadowings doing anything. Hes prolly trying to figure out how to do horizontal and vertical scrolling.

It's way not dead! I've worked on it yesterday, the shops are almost done! I will make a screenie soon. I haven't posted much about it though. The progress topic should have the latest updates in it.koolmansam375 wrote:leofox: what happened to Destiny Realm? Is it dead?
Here it is:
v 0.15 9 february 2005
I converted the game to an app, with exactly the same functionality as v0.11.
It took quite a while to convert it to app, it didn't work at first.

If you were paying attention, Destiny Realm is Assembly:
to answer your question koolmansam, yes, they're is some progress. The shops i was talking about (they're going to be sooo awesome) and some minor engine upgrades. I also tried to start on the fighting engine, but it's not much yet. I don't know where to begin with programming a fighting engine. An assembly RPG under development by Leofox.

If I were making one i would probably do the coding in this order (keep in mind this is for like a turn based game but it could be used for a tales of phantasia like game i suppose):leofox wrote:I also tried to start on the fighting engine, but it's not much yet. 1. Normal melee attacking
2. Magic attacking
3. Item use
4. anything else (blocking, running away, etc)
