DS Pong

Post by DarkAuron »

Yes, that's right. With the limited resources and DS coding skills that I have acquired, I created pong in ANSI for the DS tonight (or this morning, however you choose). If you would like to try this without a real DS, get Dualis.

I'm not the only one to start coding for the DS. threefingeredguy has as well, and tr1p1ea and Spengo are about to.

Yes the source is a bit of a hack job, but thats what you get when you're starting out :).

I haven't flashed my DS yet to run homebrew. I'm waiting to find a GBAMP, because all of those fancy cartridges cost a lot. I found a site that sold passmes and a gbamp together for $40 but they don't sell the gbamps anymore. :(

Good work both of you. I've been thinking about tinkering w/ the ds homebrew after I bought my kit. The code looks pretty similar to gba code/setup, so it shouldn't be that hard of a jump. :)

This topic has been split. General DS programming chatter and demos etc can be found in the 'Off Topic' forum.

We will leave DarkAuron to have his project thread :).
