SATA or PATA optical drive?

PATA, I'm not seeing the point of SATA yet. The drives aren't fast enough to need the speed boost, and they still put PATA controllers on motherboards for a reaon.

hmm, wasn't it Intel that announced a while back that their new motherboard design(I'm not sure which one) wouldn't include SATA at all? rather stupid, in my oppinion. I wonder if they added one in.

Hmm, Since I'm over 100 maxcoins again, what should I buy? Kirby, pet forum troll, or keep saving up for 1337 sword or ds?

yay. Why not? I've been using one for years, and it's great. You can take many pictures, and not waste any film. In practice, however, I've never gotten any prints made. I have used some shots for computer wallpaper, and as a background for a music video though. If you don't have one, you really should look into getting one, as prices have come down so much.

6 megapixel slr or 8 megapixel normal digital camera?

Mini-dv, it doesn't require me to put anything in it but batteries. I don't have a firewire though, that is a problem.

warcraft 3. I've played a demo of it, and I've never played starcraft. Also, the graphics are obviously better. I don't know how the gameplay compares though.

Pencil, you can erase when you write something like "warcraft 3 > starcraft" and write "starcraft > *".
