It has problems on the 360 that can't be solved as easily as on the PC. I can replace the video card, but on xBox it has terrible loading times and lags.

I've had it since thursday, already played 15+ hours.

I'm level 5

EDIT: it's kinda slow though, the loading times aren't as long as in Morrowind, but i needed to make it run at almost the lowest detail to make it have a decent framerate. It's still beautiful

I've heard that the combat system is rather slow pased, or at least something about switching from defending to attacking throughout a fight leaving you open to free attacks of some kind (going against the whole point of blocking in the first place

). Have you experienced anything like that?

The combat system sucks if you just swing your sword rapidly. If block an enemy's attack and then swing while their guard is down, then you score a nice big hit. Also, improving your agility makes you attack faster, so if you have really high agility then you COULD swing your sword randomly. Or you could just do what I do. Permanently walk around in sneak mode and nail people with arrorws for 5x damage. My friend nearly lost a fight on his character that I did from a distance, killing him before he even noticed me. By thee way, I got it to work

In case you're having screenshot problems: Go to My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini and change the bAllowScreenshots=0 to 1, and disable AA. If you have antialiasing on it won't let you take screenshots.

You could install Fraps? That way you could take screenies with AA and capture movies as well

I specifically made it high-res for the profile pic. I don't play the game with AA (even 2x is murder for me), my card is incapable of any 3.0 shaders (which includes HDR), shadow blending, or anything fancy. I just have textures at max, distance at max, and I normally have grass off.

tr1p: I don't think even FRAPS can take screenshots with AA on, morrowind and oblivion do some heavy anti-screenshot stuff.. no idea why. *glares at bethesda*

not to mention that oblivion is slow enough without fraps running

I have grass off too, it's kinda useless. The same for shadows.
