Yeah I had a car, but never ended up getting a license... insurance/gas cost too much, and I'm paying for college without any help from my parents or a whole ton of financial aid. Bus. :P Great you got a car though dude.

I have to spend an hour and a half in the car every day driving to and from uni >_< I go through more than a tank of gas a week... Would almost be cheaper just to get an apartment in Akron (which I'm really considering for fall).

Congrats on the car. I just bought my first car recently. Previously I drove an extra car that my little brother is now driving.

Mine is a 2006 Honda Civic Si. I got it because it's a good compromise between a daily driver and something a little sportier, but I can walk/bus to work in 20 min, so actually it's not much of a daily driver. I could have actually gotten something completely impractical (like where the engine is measured in cubic inches) but oh well, I like my car.

I'm excited on the inside....

Outside parents' house. I bought it in Ohio and had it shipped since taxes are less, I needed to learn stick (hills and city traffic are not conducive to this...), and I think most places are selling for above MSRP in Seattle due to low production/high demand.

Me I have a chevy impala, I had since I was about 17(or least I was allowed to drive it). My mom bought i for herself used with 45000 miles on it. First couple years it wasn't the most relieble, but after getting it fixed up(for a grand) it works perfectly. Sh officail gave it to me when she bought her self a new car. I guess I was 18.

My impala is champange with a big crack in the windshield from when a pebble met it a 60 mph. The heater chooses not to work on the few days a year it's actually cold. And at this momment it's 400 miles short of 60,000. Personally I like this car alot, It's comfortable and does it's job well. I expect to take all the way through college and probably till it breaks down. :bunny:

Nissan Altima 1999. Blew out my speakers. *sigh*

I used to have a corolla, but I got in a wreck. The insurance paid for the new one though, so I guess it was ok.

HAH, if I had a wreck I would get $600 for my POS. And why don't you just replace the speakers?

Nice to have your own car 8)

I got myself an antique. It's a present from my gf's parents. It used to be her grandmother's, who hardly ever used it :P It's got the 26" wheels, chrome headlights and everything!
