Have you tried Visual IRC? I prefer it to mIRC as it's, well, free. No nag screens = very yes.
I'm too used to mIRC anymore... I've tried other programs, and don't like them.

Plus not all of us have to live with the nag screens (or pay either)...

Sounds like you're... admitting to something there?

Either I'm admitting to something, or I got someone to pay for it for me. Take your pick.

I use mIRC and Trillian. Two useful communicating programs. :)

Ok what's your jabber account name? It would be nice to actually have someone on my list that has a jabber account rather than just taking advantage of the other transports.

Miranda IM for use with the MSN protocol, and mIRC for use with IRC.

I refuse to use IM. All the main ones are loaded with spyware and all the other ones, no one's heard of and no one has it. I use IRC.

Umm, Trillian and Gaim are bloat/spy/ad-ware free clients that work with all the major IM services.

GAIM would probably be OK if it didn't have sucky MSN (it had loads of random disconnection problems when I used it) and didn't rely on GTK.

There is a "free" trillian, but y'now what? Trillian sucks. GAIM sucks,
