It is, just try it on a emu or if you don't have a rom get the flash debugger from TI.

1.i want to get an emulator but i dont know how to install it..

2.ive seen the pti website and theres like 5 things to download and i only know what 2 of them do.

3.i dont know how to get a rom from my calc to my computer

on the command prompt part of rom8x, i dont understand how to do that. i dont know what to type in.. i have an 84 plus silver.. can anybody tell me what to type in or something?

there is an example in the readme that shows exactly what you have to type in the command prompt if you have an 84+SE. Look at it, it's not very hard.

Just in case you don't know, I don't think that an 84+SE rom will work for pti. Other emulators support it though.

Rom8x ain't gonna work with an 84+ anyways, since it doesn't work with the Silverlink USB cable.

The newer version does. I just got the rom off my 84+se with the silverlink USB cable.

Yeah it works now, and PTI doesn't work with the new OS's
