Well, he had no internet connection because of his parents (he wasnt allowed to go on a comp because of bad grades), but now he's back :) Been helping a lot already.

yeah... bad grades... probably not an uncommon problem in this crowd... :wink:

you know, my math teachers would always say "you cant use your calculator on the test because your not going to have it out in real life", I could never make them understand the depths of my calc obsession (or mabey its just plain stubborness)... i never go anywhere with out at least one calc, i'll even take them to the beach in plastic bags, just in case... :roll:

It's more like the other way around: you'll never do math on paper in the real world, with the mass-use of computers these days..

hehe... yeah... one way it's sad... i can't even devide on paper anymore... it's so long ago that I did that... I always use the windows calculator... best program ever 8)

Using the windows calculator makes calculations between hex, binary, and decimal ub3r fun! All the kids love it! This ultra-expensive commercial is brought to you by.. Microsoft! :lol:

Incidentally, is there a square root function in it? I have to go "[x^y]" ".5" "[=]" at the moment, which is a bit slow.

yeah, there is, but it only apears in standard mode for some reason... :roll:
