Nah, my real desktop changes all the time. Here's the current one.

Yes, it's a photo of my video card fan. I hope you don't have a problem with that? :P

I can't stand anything on the desktop at all except a hiding list of active windows and a mouse cursor... And I'm thinking about removing the taskbar cause it can be annoying at times
Right-clicking does bring up a menu for exiting X, but the rest is driven by hotkeys and terminals.

EDIT: That's the gaim-trayicon on the windows-list, the one I planned to remove :p I'm ashamed...

What's this shabbiness, Hans? There's something lurking around in the bottom right corner!

It changes all the time, usually to stuff I make, but I liked this desktop that came with a Marines promo.

Kozak wrote:Hey duck how do you use those newsgroups? I use IRC but it isn't ideal since there are big qeues.
Use Newsbin Pro (www.newsbin.com). Its a good program specifically build to download binaries (from newsgroups alt.binaries.*).
NewsLeecher and GrabIt also work well.
To search within all the binaries newsgroups, use http://alt.binaries.nl/
And what do you mean with queue's? There are no queueu's when downloading from your newsgroup server... Your ISP needs to have good newsgroup support though. I believe Planet, XS4ALL and some other have good support. If your ISP doesnt, you can use payservers like Astraweb.
I use Agent Newsreader :) newsgroups are definately the way to go,

I've reinstalled windows recently, so my desktop is almost empty now.
Note the really old version of Acrobat Reader for some reason :)

My wallpaper changes every 7 minutes.
You know your hexadecimal output routine is broken when it displays the character 'G'.

That's the goal  *evil*!!!

Hopefully the 83+ doesn't have colors so nobody should find psychedelic stuff in my program :)
