I voted for Desolate for three reasons..
1. Grayscale and unique story :D
2. I find it more fun than pinball games, but Acelgoyobis IS good.
3. Working closely with tr1p on fixing problems, I kinda feel what stress he went through.

I guess it's slightly biased but eh, it's all good. POTY or not, they're great programs nonetheless :)

If I had voted, I'd have gone for pinball over Desolate - mainly because Desolate doesn't play fair on my hardware, and it's either extremely laggy or difficult to control or far too fast and even harder to control as the display flickers like crazy so I can't read things. That's my bias - I'd go for the one that I can play

You have an older 83?

Also, its nice that you guys voted, its good to know that your work has been appreciated. But it would have been wrong for Desolate to win over Acelgoyobis as Acelgoyobis is such a nicely made game :).

Im almost certain he meant that its too slow on 4 and too choppy/grainy on 6.

The problem is that my screen is not very blurry- it refreshes faster than all the TIs we had at school and was made of a different plastic (harder, black and shiny - the school ones were a matte very dark grey and were made of soft plastic - I mean, they still looked black, but if you put mine next to it you could see that mine was blacker) and the screen was less greeny and had higher contrast than the school ones.

Of course I played with the interrupt

Mine was bought in a shop - everyone else bought theirs through the school supplier for about half the cost.

Simply because I liked it the most. I can't see what's so surprising about that... What did you expect then?

CoBB is far too modest to vote for his own program ... although it deserved it ... and it showed! :).

I mostly enjoy adventures and strategy games, and arcade stuff too. I'm not into simulators at all. Actually, I haven't really played computer games during the last few years, I found that coding and problem solving is more of a recreation to me -- when playing I don't feel I'm accomplishing anything any more.

It's not modesty that prevents me from voting for my own program. I don't think it's right, that's all.

Yeah it's not very neat to vote for your own program, but by voting Desolate you weakened your position cause u knew Acelgoyobis and Desolate we're top competers. That's why I voted Snake 2! Nah kidding  .
