I don't think there would be enough people that much interested in calculators.

Is it just me or did the old maxcoderz have a lot more people asking questons in the programming help section. I always seemed to spend a good deal of time there but not anymore.

That''s the beginning of every year, I am not really suprised to not see much people here asking stuff. There also seems to be a tendency to not wanting to program z80 anymore.

I don't fully agree with this solution because this still puts the postcount at the center of everything... After all, why are we posting here ? Mostly -unfortunately- because some guys are bored. But the real goal of such forums is to discuss various things, show projects dev, get feedback and give news IMO. There's no postcount need in this, that's where it's wrong I think.
-Absolutely, I agree that it shouldnt be about getting the most posts or improving your post count. I think I was one of the first twenty people registered at the new forum and I have a fairly small amount of posts. I reply to what I think needs replying too and I try not to give one liners. That is something I believe people should try to do more. For me, I came here to be taught or perhaps do some teaching of my own. To share with the community, what it has shared with me throughout those boring math classes.

I obviously missed something this last week, programmers leaving, lockdowns, bickering, etc...

I haven't seen a lot of programmers that can/are blowing my mind. I have seen some pretty damn good/moderate coders starting out though. They can only get better! L-man, Toaster, NanoWar, Shadow Phoenix, Ben Ryves (JP), just to name a few. (Sorry if I left anybody out!)

I would consider Ben Ryves to be well above 'moderate' ... his is a master!

The point is true though, there hasnt been much action for calcs recently. Spencer and CoBB are keeping things alive :).

Although not in assembly, I've got tankies going, and I had my senilym mini projects released. I'm just not going as fast as some people.
