The letter is also identical to a sample letter on the University of Texas Legal School website. Incidentially, it's the first thing you see if you google "cease and desist letter." Also, there is no zip code in either letter, and there's no envelope so far.

<joking>
Nah... really, it's no big loss if it's gone. Was Anyone looking forward to the game, I wasn't. Honestly unless one of the levels was "Solving Complex Differential Equations", I wasn't gonna have fun. But to be fair, all games kinda suck for all systems. With one exclusion of course.

I was talking on #tcpa and a few people have recieved similar letters. I also understand that ticalc.org could be in a lot of trouble for distributing these games.

Maybe that's why they are revising the archives... the news about the invitation system is still not marked as fake... :?

Now it is: http://www.ticalc.org

Obviously this was a joke (altough the BASIC game archives really need to be separated into castegories), but they took a while to flag it as a fake news.

Odd enough the Maxcoderz copyright thingy with Joe look a bit like the april fools joke from two years ago, which was saying he got arrested. I hope this year it is a joke too

I am not going to post what I was going to post because this would mess up the forum page

But why have u waiting so long to say this?? I was going to ask Ticalc.org, Calcgames and even UTI to delete zelda from their website and I was even about to discontinue my BASIC metroid

Oh Joe, you big joker! Thanks for finally saying it, we'd all been waiting. I didn't know whether I should keep working on Metroid or not. Anyways, this is by far the best joke I've seen before, so good work! Now that you got us so worried, maybe you could post some new screens?

I didn't beleive it at first, but as I read about copyright stuff, it sounded totally plausable. 'Had me real nervous about the Sonic project. I can't imagine what we're in for next April.
