Spaces as grouping characters are fairly common, as are apostrophes (1'000'000.00).

I believe the SI way is to use a full-stop ('.'). I use the middle-dot when hand writing ('34·372').

It's a fairly important problem as quite a lot of 'stupid' software attempts to parse numbers by splitting them by the full-stop '.'. I face the opposite problem in Brass, meaning that software that assembles on one machine should assemble on another, so it forces most conversions to the 'Invariant locale' (So, .echo 1.4 will echo "1,4" on a machine set up to use a comma radix point, but the exported debug files will have "1.4", regardless of locale).

I'm very surprised people aren't aware of different ways of representing numbers. :\

I was taught the SI way was "1 234 567.890", though that could be wrong :-/

If someone buys an item you made from the forum members shop, do you get (part of) the coins? That would be a cool change to give people motivation to make items that people want.

No. It is possible, but not wishable from our point of view. I guess atm we won't give something if you design a item, since it should/could be a motivation to have your item in the shop at all... maybe in the future.

Forum troll 100 mcdollahs?
An undomesticated pet forum troll. It was a lengthy mission involving IP locators, private investigators, feeding, low remarks, retorts, counter retorts, and finally a highly advanced trap (Tarp(tm)) to catch this troll, but now it is yours for the low-low price of $price.
