But do you pay it monthly? That's a one time charge.

3 Gig's per day isn't very much? What do you need more than 3 gigs per day for?

And 100mb of storage, there is a pretty small chance of that getting used, I would trust something that drasitically scewed.

I think though tengun is over charging, I saw another plan that offered 30gb bandwidth, 1.5gb storage, unlimited DBs, and other crap. Not sure how good they are though.

Either way, I don't see a reason to change.

Actually, that's horrible. My free host (without ads!) offers me 900mb space, 9gb bw / m , unlimited sql, email, subdomains, ftp accounts, domains, cpanel etc...

Their service is by far outstanding. An aquaintance of mine was worried about his bandwidth. When it hit the limit and they doubled it for him on the spot without any constrictions.

I have 2gb space, 30gb bw/m unlimited subdomain, 500 email, only one domain, and cpanel and ftp accounts. All for free. Plus when I ran out both bandwidth and space, they gave me infinite bandwidth and a total of 10gb of space. It's only free for bands though, otherwise dreamhost is the best deal.

I have my own server, currently about 30cm from my feet, 100Mbit connection, 15GB bandwidth limit per week (only upstream from my pov, downstream unlimited), unlimited blahblahblah and as much storage space as I put harddrives in it :)

50. The forums are so *insanely* active, so you can easily get that in about 2 hours without spamming at all, and then dissapear forever.

I had that a few times :) Once a flatmate's PC got fried and took out the power, and another time we probably had too many devices on one group. Anyway, after that second time I moved from one plug-socket to another, which happens to be on another group. It's funny when the power goes out now (it still does from time to time), the lights go off, the music stops and my laptop switches to battery, but since my switch and server are still running on the other group (and the laptop has a battery) I can just keep working while everyone else shouts in astonishment and annoyance

http://epfarms.org $2/month, 1GB storage, 20GB/mo up AND down, shell access, unlimited DBs, weekly backups, a whole lot of other stuff. http://epfarms.org/pricing.shtml

I use it and like it... It was slow for a few days about a week ago, but eh... Didn't bother me all that much.

The actual resources consumed are what cost us money, and are therefore all that should cost you money.
This is why any host that doesn't give you unlimited databases, domains, subdomains, email accounts, ftp accounts, etc amounts to exactly CRAP as I've already told the boys at Revsoft.
