No, because before the voting ends, I have to write the rules and make some arrangements with ticalc.org... they didn't replied to my last mail :(

Don't you have the old rules? They covered almost anything.

The Old Rules wrote:• Competition managers are kv83 (Vincent Jünemann)
• Everyone, except the competition managers, are allowed to join the competition.
• A submitted ‘program’ can be refused by the competition managers without giving a reason.
• The submitted programs will be sorted in to one of the following groups:
o ASM for 83/83+
o Basic for 83/83+
• Games who don’t fit into one of those groups will be rejected.
• One person can submit only one game for ASM and only one game for Basic.
• ION is allowed, but please include in the readme which routines you use.
• Submitted games are not allowed to be already released on another site till they are released by the competition managers.
• It is not allowed to post screens or information on the internet of your progress on the game. This is to prevent others to ‘steal’ your ideas.
• The games which are not rejected will be uploaded to the Greenfire server and will be presented to the community in newsitems on Greenfire and Maxcoderz. Also there will be a poll on the Maxcoderz Board where you can vote for your favourite game.
• The voting will have 2 categories:
o Graphics (Winner gets 30pts, 2nd gets 25pts, 3rd gets 20 pts)
o Gameplay (Winner gets 50pts, 2nd gets 40pts, 3rd gets 30 pts)
• The 3rd category won’t be voteable. This will be the ‘Size’ category (Winner gets 30pts, 2nd 25pts, 3rd gets 20pts). The smallest programm will win this one. The overall winner will be the one with the most points.
• You can't vote on your own program.
• The winning games will be published on the front pages of Maxcoderz and Greenfire.
• Games can be submitted till (MM-DD-YYYY): 03.25.2004 – 20:00:00
• Votings can be done till (MM-DD-YYYY): 04.15.2004 – 20:00:00

Game Rules:
After telling the general rules, it is time to tell you what the competition is all about. The object of this contest is to make a nice pong game. If you don’t know what pong is go here: http://www.xnet.se/javaTest/jPong/jPong.html. Looks simple? It is! So, how can you win, you will wonder… That’s something not so simple. You have to make your pong game more intresting and challenging than others. One way is to improve the graphics. Another way is to add some nice features. And the last way is to keep the game as small as you can get it. Everything is allowed, as long as you keep the pong feeling in it …
The programming language is all up to you. Though I would advice ASM to make a game, Basic games are welcome as well and will be judged in a different poll. Also the shell you choose is up to you. If you are using Basic and want to use sprites, it is allowed to use ZSprite and Omnicalc, but you are not allowed to use costum made ASM utilities.

Submitting your game:
You are already finished?! Ah well… first thing to do is to make sure it has a nice readme so that everyone who plays the game will understand how it works. Explain the buttons and the features of your game in it. This makes it more easily to rate it. Then send everything to vincent@wateringelaan.demon.nl including the 8xp/83p and the readme and you can wait and see what happens.
Note: Remember to test the thing a couple of times so that it won’t crash our calc
I copied and printed them, since I was a competitor and wanted to be sure of the rules :D

I would like to see some sort of (size) optimization competition. Give people an algorithm, and see who comes up with the best implementation :)
