yeah, that is pretty much how far I got...though I didnt add in hit detection. I had crouching, jumping both directions and the first image in a sucking animation.

How is everyone handling levels? I'm guessing they're going to be compressed in one way or another.

Well most people say the "28 Days Tutorial" is pretty good. I've never seen it myself, but word-of-mouth says it's the software shiznit; and that's no shazbot.

Between Kirby, Metroid, and Sonic this is looking like an awesome game year. I really hope we can get this one going. Has anyone started collaborating on this yet?

hey guys, sorry for not replying on your questions in this thread. I think there were even rumors that I died in Afghanistan.

Now look what I found on my webspace:

This screenshot is like three years old. I'd been almost done with it when my windows-pc screwed up... :x

Like a cat in a dog show. The TI-89 version that was recently released sort of stole the thunder for the b&w versions. It's not a good year for z80 side-scrollers so far.

Well im sure you can do something about that now cant you DigiTan :).

Also that ancient modded demo kv83 posted is sooo slow compared to the shiny new grayscale routines :).
