Masking I'm sure... man it annoys me wh3en games should use masked sprites but use XOR and sprites come out all gross.. anyways nice job so far, looks like you still need collision detection but good job so far.

The last person I remember working on a kirby game was L-man, but he left the community I believe.

Inidentally, an L-Man just registered on another forum I frequent. Dunno if it's him though...

A kirby game would certainly make for a lot of lecture-sleeping avoided. I like the idea. If I wasn't such a darn amature I might give it a shot. What I can do is help with game logic, pull sprites from any version in the universe, and give detailed info on what each special ability should do. I have a friend/huge-kirby-fan that has most of this info documented in several .txt files that I'm sure would dinate to the cause. Wonderful idea.
I'm not mad, just a little crazy.

DarkNova - a little side project I run.

you're no amature. In about a week, you've learned enough ASM to begin making a game. That's much better than me, and it's very impressive.

So, is there anyone left on the Kirby project? It would really...suck...if the progress stopped.
My diet consists of nails, code-stealers, and HP fans.
Projects:

Robot War [TI-82, TI Flash App]
Sonic the Hedgehog [Multiplatform]
