Source code release and "Demo 8".

Post by benryves »

I've dug around the dustier corners of my hard disk drive and uploaded the source code for this project to https://github.com/benryves/Nostromo

After transferring to GitHub I cloned the project locally and tried building it; I was able to compile "Demo 8" which is a minor bugfix from the generally-available "Demo 7" previously released on my website.

Maybe one day I'll figure out how to write a BSP tree builder and find a fix for "things" (scaling sprites) that get clipped incorrectly when straddling the boundaries between sectors, but for now at least the code is no longer just mouldering away on my hard disk drive. :)

Wow that's really cool to see this project be available to try out. I didn't even know there was a Demo 7 available before. Looks like I got a TI-84 Plus again just in time to try the new version. :)
