I still don't understand those white filled rocks.
In fact the whole game is a bit white and needs more shadow effects. I guess you'll do the graphic work in the end.
The game engine looks promising.

Yeah thats right, once the important things are taken care of, then you can worry about the eye-candy.

I still love that tree in the top-most screen tho :).

No... just rocks. There are tombstones in the graveyard (top left map).

while some sprites could use some shading, most of them would look bad with simple dither shading. Look at the entries for the "design a rock" contest.

It would be better to simply get better sprites. If you don't like the way they look, design a new one. He'll probably use it, if it's good.

Think of the simple sprites as placeholders until something better is put in. It's more important for him to get the code working, then worry about the sprites. And we have some good sprite artists on here that could probably do a better job with the sprites than he could anyway. He's more of a coding specialist.

I agree...get the engine complete and then wow us with some sweet graphics.

I really like the tree in the upper-right and the tombstones in the upper-left...the bottom picture. Keep up the great work king!

Yeah, they're nice. In my oppinion, once you put the new rock sprite in they'll look great.
