Well, there is already a 0.1.0.2 version of MC AutoUpdate. It's only available through EarlyMornign atm though. Expect a full release of it when I'm back from vacation. This new version will enable a better way of update file and also include a tool for making an update package :)

(In other words: a lot of background activities will be optimized...)

I am currently working on a new version (0.2.0.0) of MAU. This time, it will not only let you update current applications, but install them aswell. This way, you only have to download MAU, and with one/two clicks you install the whole IDE (including latest versions of LateNite, EarlyMorning, PindurTI, etc.)

Sounds fab!

Sorry about my lack of effort in relation to this project. Once Latenite 2 starts to get together, it'll be a lot neater and a lot more modular, and I hope that I can use this with it to great effect. :D

As said I'm working on MAU v2 (0.2.0.0) and till now it looks like this:

As you can see every app gets it's own "banner". Of course every app gets it's own icon and stuff. The button with the world is the download button, and will be enabled/disabled depending of whether there is an update or not. If you haven't installed the app not yet, there will be a setup icon.

Also the commandbar at the top is still missing :)

Nice, looks a bit like the Add/Remove programs control panel (which is a good thing). Brill!
