why would it take 4X the space? With a little use of for( loops and matrix checking, it is possible to make a basic one...but it is far from as fast as its 8X8 automatic counterpart

I mean you can make a fake tilemapper that uses quarter tiles, that takes more room. Or you can make one like you said.

Ill implement a 16x16 tilemapper, if only to get you guys to stop going on-and-on about it!

If you made the real( token return a number when you're done (even if it's always 0), you could use it as an argument for seq(. Making tilemapping routines simple in Basic.

Sorry Trp1, I guess we kinda hijacked your thread...

So, to clarify...in here we post about bugs and suggestions for changes to functions that have been added by Xlib 0.6b, and in the main xlib discussion thread we post ideas for new functions and other stuff, correct?

Yes, this is for 0.6b TESTING. Only post 0.6b testing issues in here.

Post all the other usual stuff in the APP thread.

Ok this is what i need from you guys. I need you guy to show me some eveidence tht you have actually tested stuff. I said that i wanted people to TEST and that i didnt want anyone making projects with this release!

Before i release anything else, i would like everyone who has tested to submit a small report outlining which functions they have tested and the results.

This is crucial to a public release of xLIB!!!
