all this work just to have a customized compiler folder for this crimson editor i just got... which btw is awsome!

spasm?
never tried it... does it work the same?

just got it AND tried it.... same result- except i guess the syntax for spasm is diff from tasm

i was thinking, maybe if i copyed devpac to my documents and then somehow executed it from their??? any ideas yes no or how?

I'd try creating a C:\ASM directory or similar and sticking all the tools in there. Easier to remember and less likely to have weird path-length or space-character issues.

i sense my work is almost complete...
i put devpac where the .bin appeared and it executed devpac, put couldn't find the file...
i think i got it from here.
thanks a lot!
