I can relate to getting shocked like that. I was replacing a fan in my power supply, and I got careless and touched the + and - on where the power cable is plugged in. And it felt pretty bad, it was only 12v, but it was 300w. So not fun.

Yeah that is the problem, I have an upload of 350 Kbps, with a down of 2 mbps. So that sucks. But the only reason I'm doing this is to move some files, and to check my email at school.

I connected my compy with the MX 4000 I had with tv out, and I had it with linspire working. I don't know what to say except it might work.

See if you can go to like a game place and see if they have a disc with Doom 3 demo, and you might get other demos with it. No downloading, mailing, or waiting And forget limewire or any of the different p2p sharing there isn't a demo out there...

And that is where VNC is used on non server OS computers right? I'm sure you weren't talking to me about having to have win2k terminal to connect using VNC cause it has win2k as on of the requirments for use. I found the manual for VNC free on their site, so more reading.

Sounds stupid but just install it on a floppy drive from a different computer. If it fits it should allow you to use the program off the floppy. If it doesn't fit on a floppy, burn the installed program to a disk from a different computer. From what I've read even if someone gives you the uninstall ...
