Sorry about the size...I didn't wanna shrink it down any furthur because artifacts and whatnot have the tendency to kill some of the minor but relevant details in some of my comics... Anyway, the entire run of what is up is basically this love...eh, love triangle I guess. With fighting and magic and...

Bad news: Quest for Mircurius probably won't be happening any time soon. Good news: I've got a new job Bad news: It's 40 hours a week More bad news: I have...

I have a series of books (like, 4 of 'em) that were based on Doom. The monsters you face in the game are really creations of these aliens (called the Freds in the book) trying to make stuff to scare and test the humans for their invasion (the guy you play in the game is one of the lil lab rats and s...

A friend of mine (you may know him as Joe Flint, the guy who made KoF2k for the calc) got me into it...which is kinda funny since I was the one who got him into anime in the first place...well, i might've helped him along at least... anyway, yeah, I've been watchin it a bit since...like...i think th...

well, for one, the maps and stuff are rather large...or at least they probably would be. External files would be for like scripts and stuff that the game would use. The maps and other hard data would have to be built into the game and that is the part that i'm having the problem with. In all honesty...

I'm goin by the assumption that the compression routines that i've looked at before only tend to shave off a few bytes which isn't really enough i've asked for help before and gotten nothing back unless i make a pest of myself, and I don't like being a pest. tiles, i'd appreciate help on i just don'...

don't really mean to double post, but...well, i thin i've come to one of those show-stopping snags...ya see, it's come to my attention that even if i use only 1 tileset of 256 tiles (which would be about 2048 bytes), I couldn't get very many maps done without having them and only them on its own pag...

whew, lotsa questions, heh Are you going to change the name of this game too because you decided to quit writing the Blue World comics? No, the game is the same name. I'm not quitting the comic, it's just put on hiatus for a while What's the new character going to be? What new character? Are you goi...

A little bit more updates: http://www.superkidinc.com/images/Maps.gif As you can probably tell from the screenshot, I have implemented smooth scrolling and larger tiles. It works nice but I'm worried that the maps alone might get TOO big, but I'll worry about it once i can get some REAL maps made, b...
